LMI4VET Multiplier Events Across Europe: Bringing Labour Market Intelligence into Practice
During the final months of the project, LMI4VET partners organised five multiplier events across Germany, Romania, Luxembourg, Spain and Italy, bringing the project’s results closer to VET providers, third-sector organisations, employment services, public authorities, researchers and other labour market stakeholders.
Held between September and October 2026, the events took place in Frankfurt, Timișoara, Luxembourg, Bilbao and Milan. Each country adopted a different format, reflecting its own context and target audiences: from hands-on testing and live demonstrations to stakeholder workshops, international conference presentations and practice-oriented discussions.
The events introduced participants to the main LMI4VET resources, including the Methodological Guide, training materials and digital tools, and explored how Labour Market Intelligence can support better-informed decisions on vocational training, skills and employment, particularly when working with people facing barriers in the labour market.
Just as importantly, the events created spaces for dialogue. Participants discussed the practical challenges of using labour market information and highlighted the need for information that is up to date, locally relevant, accessible and easy to translate into action. Feedback also underlined the value of resources that enable professionals without specialist expertise in labour market analysis to work more confidently with evidence.
Across the five countries, the experience confirmed one of the key ideas behind LMI4VET: having access to labour market data is not enough. Organisations also need the knowledge, skills and tools to turn information into intelligence and intelligence into better decisions.
The multiplier events marked an important step in connecting the project’s results with their intended users and exploring how the resources can continue to be applied beyond the lifetime of the project.
Thank you to everyone who participated, shared experiences and helped us improve LMI4VET!
