New transnational meeting of the European LMI4VET project held online
The European LMI4VET project moves forward with the development of training materials and digital tools to improve the use of labour market information in VET
The European project Labour Market Information for VET (LMI4VET), led by PROSPEKTIKER in collaboration with partner organisations from the Basque Country, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and Romania, continues to make progress in its main lines of work aimed at strengthening the use of labour market information in the field of Vocational Education and Training.
During the online transnational partner meeting held on 27 May 2026, the consortium reviewed the overall status of the project and discussed progress made in the development of the training materials and the chatbot. These tools are key to helping stakeholders in the VET ecosystem better interpret and use available labour market information.
The meeting also presented the upcoming validation phase of the materials, which will take place between 1 June and 30 September 2026. This phase will include interviews with social organisations and employment and training providers involved in the project, as well as a survey addressed to professionals delivering VET to people at risk of exclusion.
The consortium also discussed the next dissemination activities, including national conferences to present the project results and promote the use of the tools developed. These activities will help bring the project resources closer to social stakeholders, training centres, VET professionals and other organisations interested in improving the connection between training provision and real labour market needs.
Through these actions, LMI4VET continues to move towards its objective of providing social partners and VET professionals with practical, multilingual and accessible resources to improve the planning of continuing training, especially for people with fewer opportunities.
